How To Tap Into Your Inner Strength

Let’s face it, for most weight loss is a tough mission. Despite all the supplements, programs, gizmos, and information out there, the majority struggle…

There are many reasons for why this is so tough but I am about to let you in on a secret. In fact it’s one of your greatest assets that you can access whenever you need it.

Most people in their life have undergone some sort of adversity (probably several!). While these may have been terrible and horrific at the time, they have left you with a gift... A gift that we often forget about or lose sight of completely.

You see whatever that struggle was, whatever that foe or challenge that you took head on...

Listen:  I believe adversity is what shapes us, it strengthens us, and it forces us to grow. It allows us to become more of a man or more of a woman. We are able to take on even more because of it. Kind of like how a diamond is created, under immense pressure.

Maybe you have not thought about it like that before, but you can start now. No longer do you have to fear adversity but begin to embrace it.

It Gave You Something Special 
And That Was Strength!

Here’s How This Applies to Weight Loss: 

Think about for a moment a tough time in your life. Really bring yourself back there. Now think about what it was that got you through it. 

I am willing to bet that there was some emotion that you tapped into back then. Think about exactly what it was. And realize whatever it was, it is a resource that you can revisit and reuse whenever you need it. Whenever you encounter “rough waters”. 

Sometimes going back that event makes us think, “Wow I forgot that got through and conquered that! This 30 minute workout is nothing compared to how hard that was!”

Now think about how you can use whatever that resource was. Whatever that source of strength was that you tapped into then, it is time to tap into it again. Reignite it!

Tap into that determination! Tap into that persistence! Tap into that inner strength that pulled you through that situation back then! 

That power is yours
! That’s the gift that is within us all, our ability to take the strength from the past and bring it to the challenge in front of us.

Write down what it was that got you through! Capture that insight, it is so valuable.
