How to Celebrate National Fitness DayToday is National Fitness Day
(which might be rough for those who celebrated Cinco de Mayo) Apparently, this holiday was founded in 2017 by career coach Kim Bielak after she ran her first half marathon. She felt compelled to help others feel the same sense of personal power and growth that comes with getting in shape. However, she discovered there was no official day devoted to fitness. (which is kind of funny considering over 100 are devoted to foods or drinks) So she created her own, and the rest is history. How do you celebrate this treasured holiday? According to Nationaltoday.com: “By working out with the aim to stay healthy and fit. You can work out, read books, and watch movies that inspire you to stay fit” If you go the movie route, I’d recommend Rocky or Rocky III (just whatever you do, don’t watch Rocky IV). If you go the book route, anything by the Godfather of modern fitness, Jack LaLanne is going to serve you greatly. Or if you are looking for more of an immersive experience, I have a timely (and completely biased recommendation). In honor of national fitness day, I’m officially launching my new program Intermittent Fasting Dojo. If I were to give a one-day seminar of everything I’ve discovered over the last 13+ years on intermittent fasting – this would be it. It’s one of the lowest hanging fruits for taking your health and fitness to the next level. And when you discover all the health-boosting benefits of it – you’ll wonder why some people have been on the fence. And until May 26, it is going for 40% off. You can find out more about it here. Onward, Kelan Ern
